Interesting thread. We're so sorry to hear so many people snipping at one another, and so few offering solutions. As part-timers and non-property owners, we have offered to assist, several times. We've been told that this was more for expats, and not part-timers, and we were politely refused. So we stopped asking. There's a little tidbit of history. It seems a shame that the committee decided to stop doing this without giving people a chance to take it over. We would like to see the outgoing committee meet with any interested people, expats and part-timers and see if this can't be resurrected, without finger pointing. It ia what it is, after all. We suspect that this wouldn't even have to be held as part of the rodeo but keep true to the spirit of thanks, and be just an independent Gringo Day without the problems attached with the rodeo.
