This last summer, we had the same problem with the floor tiles lifting in our six-year-old house. It started on the roof, and later we had to replace all the tiles on the second floor as well. We'd love to know what caused it... There seem to be many opinions. The albaņiles say that the person who originally installed the tiles did not wet the concrete enough before adding the glue. Not sure about that... The concrete under the loose tiles was like powder...as if the surface of the concrete somehow failed. |
