Look again Larry. The landing strip has been in for at least 2 years...it can't be seen from the road but I found it on Google Earth 2 years ago. It looks about 8-10 miles north of Perula and close to the ocean. We think it is by Los Alamandas (sp) which now has a gate across the road to stop access.
If it's not for the new airport, then it's for someone who has money as it is a huge runway.
