ordering books from Amazon.com

I need to get my hands on a couple of books from Amazon and am trying to figure out the most effective way to get them here. Has anyone had any experience with ordering from Amazon.com and having their items sent to an address in Melaque or Barra? How long did it take? My other option would be to have them sent to my home in Vancouver and then try to find someone who is coming to LaManz and willing to bring them to me. I appreciate any advice or insights this community can offer on the subject. thanks.
