My Prefered Marguarita For One
Ingredients: your favorite tequila 1 1/2 to 2 shots
Jarabe (syrup) of organic Agave (get at Hawaii
near the coffee isle, amber color, a decent
substitute for diabetics as it has lower glycimec
index) 1-2Tbl. mixed well with equal amount of
water.
Juice of 1 lime
5 or 6 ice cubes

Direction: Mix tequila, lime juice, jarabe sweetener to taste.
Pure over lots of ice cubes and serve in a short
glass. Sip, do not gulp unless you prefer to be
drunk.

Fancy service: Use martini shaker with 5-6 cubes of ice and
shake about 35 times and serve in a martini glass
Garnish with lime slice or nothing.

Answers to FAQ: No there is no mix nor Cointreau or other
orange flavored liquor. Simply the simple syrup
mixed with equal amounts of water ( mix well.)
Not having to haul, drink or pay for that sugar
loaded liqour is its own blessing.
Not advisable to use the locally available Agua
Miel. Its dark, tastes horrible and will ruin
the taste of your otherwise perfect Marguarita.

Recommendations: Limit oneself to 2. Drunk on tequila is
not the planet's prettiest sight. It is obviously
easier to overindulge in a martini glass. But
one can feel fairly classy and sophisticated
while indulging in one.
Make a small jar of Jarabe and water, shake and
keep in fridge for emergencies.
Always buy a handful of limes when going to
a store.
