First one happened at 8:23am: The USGS recently revised it downward to mag. 6.2. Mexican site says mag. 6.3.

The aftershock was at 8:36am, mag 4.5, same depth and right next to the first one. Mexican site says mag. 5.3. Donna and I did not feel this one.

There was very little danger of a tsunami from earthquakes of this magnitude and distance from us. I received emails this morning from two different tsunami warning organizations saying that no destructive widespread tsunami was generated. Of course, these tsunami emails never arrive fast enough to be useful in a nearby tsunami (like the one that hit La Manzanilla in 1995.) They are only good for large tsunamis from farther away (like the huge Japanese tsunami in 2011 that arrived here 15(?) hours later.)
