Further to my last post regarding the regaining of land surface for the crocs; I have it on good authority there is much more to the story, 1. The first letting of the water was to lower the lagoon level to facilitate the construction of a new bridge for safer crossing during the rainy season, they need to sink some new pilings for supports 2. This mornings letting was a breach of the road built yesterday as a result of the water rising and starting to overflow the new roadway and one thing led to another and before it could be stopped, the water was flowing full blast. So Charlie, there is more to the story that people not caring about tourists. Cheers |
