Duplicate bridge on Monday

We are trying to find out if we have enough people for duplicate bridge on Monday at Martin's. As of now we have 6 or 7. Bud and Doris, Clare and Joe or Betty, Dave and Ron. Anyone else in town who might want to play? Call Ron at 351-7256 or Clare at 351-7228.

I have written a book on the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) method for playing bridge and Duplicate Bridge. That would be a good place to start.
Also, on Tuesdays and Fridays, a group of people play Chicago Style bridge at Bobby's at 1 p.m. That would be a good place to learn because you can talk things over. That is where I learned to play.
And, I donated a bridge lesson at the La Catalina Foundation Benefit last year and the woman hasn't set up a lesson yet. Maybe I can work you in for that session. Ron Stock

We play duplicate at Martin's on Monday and Wednesday at 12:30. You must be there by 12:15 to be sure of a space. There is only room for 7 tables, so anyone arriving after they are filled will not be able to play. You can also play Chicago on Tues. and Fri. at 1:00 at The Club, upstairs and across the street from Figaro's restaurant.

Paula, there are lots of online bridge lessons available. The better ones cost a few bucks but worth it. Google Audrey Grant and take the beginners' lessons. Good luck and hope to see you at bridge. There is often someone looking for a partner.
