CALL TO ARTISTS

Artists from La Manzanilla and vicinity are invited to submit artwork in all media for an exhibit titled "LA MANZANILLA WILD LIFE'(theme is wide open to interpretation). Show opening to be held: Friday January 9th at 7pm. Other local galleries will have exhibits for a special opening night.
The exhibit will be at #10 Maria Asuncion. All work must be supported for hanging. Artwork should be delivered on Mon/Tues Jan 5/6 between 10-2. Art work must be for sale with 25% commission. Wall space is limited so all work may not be hung.

Are you accepting three-dimensional work that is not displayed on the wall as well?

We can fit a few three dimensional pieces-do you have stands or bases if needed?

Hi Susan. I'm in Casa Gaviotas right next to Daniel's real estate office. If you are in the neighborhood, come see. I have 15 small assemblages made from material found on the beach. Unfortunately, I don't have any stands as I'm just here for 2 months. I might be able to borrow something to display them on, however. Also, they are on my Facebook page, Judy Dykstra-Brown. Not the pictures of the Xmas altar, but the album of 15 virgin and child sculptures..I know, sounds weird, but have a look. No problema if they aren't right for your show.

Don't forget to bring your artwork to #10 gallery Tuesday or Wednesday 10-2 for hanging. The exhibit will be Friday at 7pm.
