I'll be discovering Playa Grande, our neighbors, for the first time, and will have some of my paintings for sale there. You can see 2 of them in this poster. It's this coming Sunday. Love to see you there!
Several people are interested in going and making an afternoon of it... it will be fun to see this luxury condo development, and also, if you are in a vehicle, or take a bicycle there, you can shop at the shrimp farm that is further along the road, between the condo and the Grand Bay Hotel.

Could anyone who plans to go, and might want to share space in their vehicle, post here. Then other people can be in touch with you directly. It's getting a little complicated trying to co-ordinate this!
For those of us visiting the area and would like to attend the art show .... would you please give some instructions on how to get there. Is it in San Patricio?
Kerry, are you driving? If so, you would go past the turn-off to Barra, and then take the road that says Isla de Navidad. As you can see on the map, the condo development is right at the end of that road.
However, if you aren't driving, I think you could take a water taxi across to the Grand Bay Hotel, for 20 pesos, look around there, and then get a taxi down the road to the Playa Grande Condos.
Is that feasible, Jack? Do you know how much that taxi fare would be?
Oh, so is Colimilla the name of the little village where the Grand Bay Hotel is? I think it's also the name of one of the really good fish restaurants nearby, right?
