Here are photos of the children's art work including winners of the art contest held in the schools. A lot of effort by the volunteers went into displaying their work and the kids were excited and eager to be included in Art Walk.

Thanks for sharing these Pamala - what an impressive display!

Will the display be up for awhile? Are there times when the ejido building
is open for anyone to look at the art? ie., I sometimes see it open
when there is a restaurant serving food in front of it.

The art has been removed and returned to the artists. Today Julie and I visited the Kinder, Primera and Secondaria schools to present prizes to the winners of the art contest held in each of the schools. The winners were excited, surprised and shy receiving their prizes as they did not know they had won.

I will post some photos of the winners. It was a great experience for me to see the children, visit the classrooms and meet the teachers. There are a great group of children in our pueblo.
