First of all thank you for the "thank you". 17 years ago when we arrived here I had no idea of what was going to keep me busy besides gardening and following Rusty around. He's one of a kind you know. Anyway, the dogs and cats I came across were looking pretty pitiful and something had to be done if I was going to continue living here. With an e-mail address from Brenda, who no longer lives here, the ball got rolling in 2003 and by 2004 the first Cisco's Amigos clinic took place here in La Manz. Veterinarians came from all over the US and Mexico to help-32 in all. I was stunned by the response from the Mexicans. They really do care about their animals! Now after 22 clinics and 4500 animals spayed or neutered for free and lots of help for others in need I've never gotten bored. Stressed a little, but never looking for something to do. With your support Rusty and I , the volunteers at the clinics and those who contribute monetarily we are able to give back to this very special community. The animals and their owners and don't forget the environment THANK YOU.
