I got detained once by Homeland Security, checked and scanned, questioned and scrutinized, for 1/2 a ham sandwich.

I haven't traveled in years and would go by car if I did, mainly to avoid a
confrontation with TSA. I look forward to the day you fliers revolt against
the blatant assholeness of that system. Just reading about the things
that happen get me pissed off.

We have a story of our being harrassed by Homeland Security that could put anybody off from flying though the U S of A. We now fly only Westjet, even though they don't offer a companion flight. Worth every cent.
