Injured Ambulance Driver

Hola. This is a request for financial assistance for our volunteer ambulance driver, Francisco.
Over a year ago, Francisco started/got a hernia while lifting a drowning victim off the beach. He felt the injury just as he picked up his end of the stretcher. Francisco had provided resusitation and CPR and the person had responded before being carried to our then functioning ambulance.
After our ambulance quit, Francisco retrofitted his van so as to keep providing ambulance type service to this area. His hernia kept growing as he kept delivering water or picking up injured or ill people. One young boy from Los Ingenios was saved after falling off a makeshift plank bridge on his bike. He had to be carried up from the arroyo. According to the treating physician, the boy survived his head injuries because Francisco and his crew got him to medical care in time.
So, to make the story short, Francisco finally had to get operated on. He has volunteered providing emergency service for many, many years. Two years ago he got the training and license in Guadalajara to drive our ambulance. Now, he needs our help.
Francisco supports his family by working in construction and running a small water delivery business. He needs our help to cover some medical expenses and for support while he recovers.

Francisco has contributed a lot of volunteer time and energy to help and support this entire community. If Cruz says he now needs support from the community....he does. Please consider helping him now.

Cruz- I learned from Dave Collins about this donation/contribution mechanism (below). I know there are other online ways to make and receive donations. If you could put such a site together to benefit Francisco, I would be happy to contribute.
I am not in La Manzanilla so cannot stop by the Caja Solidaria.

This is follow-up or clarification for some.
Francisco had a double hernia operation about two weeks ago now. He is now facing about 4 - 5 months of recuperation time at home.
Most of his medical care was covered. What wasn't were studies to determine that his bronchial condition would not interfere negatively during the operation and what precautions were needed. These studies were expensive and had to be paid by the family.
Francisco and his family greatly appreciate the support they have received. Francisco's son, little Francisco, goes to high school in Miguel Hidalgo. He is able to do most of the water delivery with help from Francisco's wife. But this does not cover all of their living expense. So they are all grateful for your help. Muchas gracias from me too. I went to Soldara yesterday and thought the young lady understood that it was for the hombe de ambulancia (I had forgotten Francisco's name). The receipt did no indicate the reason for the deposit. Do you know if it will get to Francisco?

Hola, Mark. The donation was probably deposited into Acct. #9558, which is the ambulance account.
Tomorrow I will check the account and deliver to Francisco any donations made this week.
