Planning a trip there by car for Thursday - does anyone know the best
time of day to go for snorkeling? From the tide chart, it looks like
high tide is at 9:00 AM and low tide is at 3:00 PM. So in the
snorkeling world, is it best to go at
high tide, in the early morning, when the sea should be relatively calm?
I've only been a
couple of times, and it didn't work too well, as the waves were too high,
pushing me up against the rocks, etc.
Oh, and another question: Are we now 'allowed' to walk over the hill from
the main beach, or do we have to go around the rocks by the sea? ie.,
are the guards back, restricting access?
Any opinions from experienced snorkellers will be much appreciated!
