Today came Profepa and the Navy and again opened the access to playa Mora and the road all along the Tenacatita beach. The guards had to sign a federal order.Chely opened a restaurant on a lot her family won back on a corner beside Alejandra store. There is a beach camping permitted again. One family already went to camp on a beach today.Looking mighty good | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita beach free access

I was there on Monday afternoon and the cops were not allowing any movement past the corner. There was a guy in a lifeguard type uniform that came up to us and warned us about the high waves. they were unusually high for Tenacatita. Stopped at Chelys (about 1 km back from beach)

I wonder what would happen if a group just ignored the guards? Since the guards are there illegally any restrictive action would be assault, one could then have the police arrest the guards? Just thinking along the lines of when we bypassed the guards by going over by boat a couple of years ago. Perhaps its time for another proactive action. | ------------------------
