Cut Trees by CFE

Most of us have a tree or branches of a tree that CFE deemed necessary to remove due to potential interference with the power lines. My question is what do I do with this debris? Will they clean up their mess or am I expected to pay someone to remove this for me? Any one have an idea? | ------------------------Re: Cut Trees by CFE

Hi Val, Those guys came by out here about three weeks ago and after they left, it looked like an artillery battle had just happened. They just chopped and (ruined) some nice trees. They also left all of the downed branches just laying out in the road. Is this acceptable? No is what I think, but then what can I do about it? It just seems that "in your face" is the order of the day. Wow, this is when I miss being able to raise some hell to somebody!! | ------------------------Re: Cut Trees by CFE

Hi Dan, Someone just called me asking where you live, it sounded like an office in the back ground. They asked which electric meter was yours, I hope it was ok that I gave them the info. I think the motto is "we cut your trees, u not happy we cut wires too" | ------------------------Treetop Flyer!

They usually respond in a few weeks here to cut an ancient Mango .... but this time 2.5 months and nothing. They always just cut the branches and leave them ---- we burn them eventually. I my soon have to pay someone to cut and haul them away because this tree is out of control | ------------------------Re: Cut Trees by CFE

In the what-it-is-worth-category........ given what we pay in taxes on our property there, we should not expect the same services we have NOB. That is also true of other services. I'm sure you can hire someone for a very reasonable rate (and the will appreciate the work) to rid you of the branches. Hope this is not considered offensive or rude. | ------------------------Re: Cut Trees by CFE

Hey, I'm connected. You can request a dumpster from the Delegado's office where you will pay 50 pesos. Alfredo will deliver the dumpster. You then fill it with your debris, you or whomever you pay. Then it gets picked up. Voila! Cruz | ------------------------Re: Cut Trees by CFE

I realize there are lots of options for the debris, but for me the issue is how the trees are hacked. Jagged, bare limbs are all that remain on some trees. Other trees tore out our phone line when they fell. It looks like a tornado went through. I'm glad that everything grows so quickly here so that some of the damage will be covered soon, but some of the beautiful greenery has been simply hacked beyond regrowth. Thanks for all the tips, though! | ------------------------Re: Cut Trees by CFE
