Sorry about that. The video has some privacy settings that control who sees it. If I can find another link, I'll post again | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

Armed and intimidating, guards surround Chitos construction of new restaurant . There are at least a dozen of them all in this small area.

Idiot rent-a-cops. They look ridiculous. Feel like doing a 'Benny Hill' number on them. | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

Three US Navy Seals could make the rent a nuisance guys go away forever. Maybe we should talk with some of the retired guys and take up a collection. The Mexican Government may be working at a certain pace but Seals would, "make it so". | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

Today the goons told Chely she couldn't go to work in her restaurant because they own the sidewalk and she can't cross it. Politics are everywhere right now, before the elections on June 7. It didn't make me feel very good to see Emilio Marquez (ex-governador of Jalisco, best buddies with Villalobos) supporting Enrique Alfaro. And here I thought Movimiento Ciudadano was going to be different. How naive.... | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

Air rights are available. My vote is that a small portable bridge spanning the sidewalk be brought in. Police protection should be available... | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

It's very disheartening to see things going backwards. There are obviously some very powerful people behind Rodenas; the guards continue to ignore PROFEPA and SEMARNAT, and these are the agencies with the power to enforce the law. One thing we can do is go to the PROFEPA denuncia site (http://www.profepa.gob.mx/innovaportal/v/1156/1/mx/haz_tu_denuncia.html) and make a denuncia against Inmobiliaria Rodenas for impeding public access to the beach. Photos and videos can be sent to support the denuncia. The site is also available in English. There are photos on Facebook and some right here on the message board. | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

We were there two days ago and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. They never appeared out of their shaded area. Thoroughly enjoyed it there... | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita

Today, Sunday, when we tried to drive down the beach road to a friend's lot that he had been clearing, we were stopped and told that not only can't we drive down the road, we can't walk on it either. Only on the beach. Tried to ride my bike over to Playa Mora and was also told I couldn't. When I remarked that PROFEPA had opened the road, the guard said,"PROFEPA no respeta los reglamentos." They said that things are back to the way they were before. It's enough to make a grown woman cry. | ------------------------Re: Tenacatita
