wolfstreet.com, just the domain name tells me to prepare for bias. From the site link Wolf Richter "In his cynical, tongue-in-cheek manner" not to poo poo it just on those points but some other citations (other than those linked in the article) would certainly help. | ------------------------Re: Mexican Peso Crisis?

Let me expand a bit and reveal my cynicism. When you have banks manipulating LIBOR and being fined a pittance (no jail time for anyone) it becomes pretty clear that the markets are being manipulated to the benefit of the very few. Things seem one way, everyone jumps on board to make a buck and in the end the boat they jumped on is going nowhere cause the situation has already entered another phase. It is like we are reading yesterday's news.

Thanks for the link David, interesting read. Another article was linked at the bottom of the first which outlined Pemex's and Mexico's Fed problems and recent failures resulting from the drop in global energy markets as well as Mexico's attempt to auction oil leases in the Gulf. Scary stuff for Mexico, can only hope someone is paying attention. Also glad I have few investments denominated in pesos, excepting my home of course. Thanks again, Rojo | ------------------------Re: Mexican Peso Crisis?

The article David linked to came out July 29th, left side of the graph below with now on the right side. There is a .4 difference between the tip of the F you finger and this morning, someone made a lot of money off scared people dumping pesos. Here is a graph from 2006 to now. Remember March 09 (the high point left of center) when the peso was losing value very quickly? You can use Google to search for news articles from that period of time and read similar things as we are reading now. https://www.google.com.mx/search?q=mexico+peso&biw=1310&bih=590&source=lnt&tbs=cdr%3A1%2Ccd_min%3A12%2F9%2F2008%2Ccd_max%3A4%2F7%2F2009&tbm= Every time the graph goes up or down someone just made money off the difference.
