Brett, we need rain. As the official spokesperson and owner of "Right Now Weather" I am going broke, as every day is hot, sunny and breezy in the afternoons. Summon your powers, conjure your spirits, and get to work on doing your job! Thank you. | ------------------------Re: Brett-Get Busy

It is my understanding that Bret is no longer the weather person, sorry to say. | ------------------------Re: Brett-Get Busy

I did not know, who is it now, or are we on our own? | ------------------------Re: Brett-Get Busy

Very sad to hear Brett won,t be doing our weather. He did an amazing job. So informative, researched and fun to read. We had just gotten over Deanna leaving us and embraced Brett. Sorry to see you stop this Brett. | ------------------------Re: Brett-Get Busy

Hey Mark, sorry I don't have the mojo to call down water from the sky. I'm pretty tired of this drought also. I tried everything I can think of: washing the car, hanging out laundry. I can't tear down the roof (it's concrete, not palapa.) THAT would probably do it! Lack of mojo is just one of the reasons I haven't been keeping up with the weather reporting. Being away from La Manz for longer periods makes it hard to provide a reliable reporting service. Our trips to the north will get even longer in the future. So I've been procrastinating announcing my retirement. Thanks for "outing" me Daniel; I needed to make it official!! I still might be joining in on weather posts occasionally in the future, but don't rely on me. You all can keep an eye out for any threatening storms using the various links we've all been posting all this time. Thanks for the kind posts everyone. Making me blush! It was my pleasure. Soon I'll post some ideas about handing over some or all the aspects and data records I've been taking care of (although more and more spottily lately.) I also owe you SOME kind of final report, at least the rainfall totals this year. Until then, "Bret the ex-weather nerd" | ------------------------Re: "Retirement announcement"

Bret: I tried washing the car last week and it worked a little. Very little. I water the plants, which in the past is a sure sign of rain. While you and I have different research methods, (you actually look at satellite forecast and I just step foot outside mi case) I have always appreciated your posts. Maybe you could now come to work for "Right Now Weather". Best wishes, my friend. | ------------------------
