I haven't seen "Dos Metros" around for a few years. He is an accomplished artist and lived up the hill. I just came across this pic from 2007.

Where did he go? He came to my house one day several years ago with an idea for a magic trick to do at Willy's open mic night. It was very funny and we made plans to do it next year. But that was the last time I saw him. Sometimes people just seem to be beamed up to another world. | ------------------------Re: Remember this guy?

Last time Professor Metros was hanging around he was going to do a business called The Slow Down.It was comprised of a room with a bunch of hammocks, in which participants were required to stay for an hour. He never did it but it is the kind of idea Brian would come up with. There actually is only one Dos Metros, you can rest assured he is dementing his immediate surroundings no matter where he is. I think this is the last photo I have of him (notice the pure class beer dispenser) or it may be this one

He looks like an angry old artist. Here is a picture of the angry young artist.

He is a fabulous artist! Wish I had one of his paintings. Oh wait, I have a signed copy of the La Manzanilla poster he produced many years ago. Maybe it is a collectors piece. | ------------------------Re: Remember this guy?

The last time we seen him in La Manz. was several yrs. ago and he was selling the property on the hill. He said he was never coming back to La Manz. but never is a long time and people change their minds. He is in Oregon the last we heard. | ------------------------Re: Remember this guy?

Yah...... he was my Psychotherapist who for a nominal barter fee (bottled wine) would conduct Zen hilltop interventions on my behalf. Hated his brick couch , half an hour on that device (in the sun) produced a form of delirium so intense that often I wouldn`t look forward to another session for a least a week . However after the end of each session he would assure me of my pending recovery and encourage me to continue my therapy under his watchful and benevolent guidance . This I did with an intense attention to detail and he was always very pleased with my progress . I had to find a cure for my psychosis/stress so I worked diligently seeking out the inter workings of mind and soul and rendering them up for his insightful interpretations . Bless him , I would always return to the great North after the season with the mental tools to survive yet another year. An update ..... was up in Canada for 9 weeks this summer and have just returned to find that he called while I was away ....... could it be that he feels he has been neglecting me ?!! | ------------------------
