Pelican visitor

I was sitting at the beach bar and this Pelican flew out of the air and landed on the sand right next to me. I looked around then decided that this was as good a place as any and had a seat. Next it walked up on the patio, into and out of the office, Mi Gato (the name of my cat) didn't know what to make of this and mainly stayed clear, which I was happy about as I have seen videos of Pelicans eating Pigeon's before. Next it walks over to the big stump (from hurricane Jova) and has a seat. It stayed there till dark. When I turned on the patio light for the night it stood up but then settled down for the rest of the evening (I assume). This is the only Pelican in the area, I don't know where the others are but I guess this one is going to wait here for them to return. It is probably going to be hungry in the morning, anyone got some breakfast for it?
