Dear Dean and Judy, a most generous offer to bring tools. Please see the above post from Judy Horan, about roof replacement. Through her brother's non- profit organization, she and her husband, DIF and teams of men are replacing roofs on houses right now in La Manzanilla. For single women with children, handicapped, elderly, is their present focus. They may need specific tools. Contact her: Judyinmexico@ gmail.com Also, for Art Saturday (And I would buy this from you, I need hand drills, non- electric). There might be some of these still around in the states. From up three blocks on the hill behind Palapa Joe's, I see most trees have lost their upper branches and leaves, if not fallen over at the base. Every gardener and laborer most likely have a job of cutting up fallen trees. So, Machetes, chain saws, hand saws should be in demand here. Any tools related to brick and mortar work, fence, post digging, etc. are some ideas. Any house with terra-cotta loose tiles, sustained damage. A thousand blessings for your generous heart. I just confirmed with WestJet that they only allow brand new chainsaws in their original packaging on the plane. Not sure about the other airlines. | ------------------------
