This Arte Mixta class will meet, starting Wednesday, December 9th, from 5 to 6:30 in the afternoon. We are in need of a bilingual translator for all 10 classes, or for one class at a time. These scholarship students range in age from 12 to 18, and are full of pleasant surprises. | ------------------------Re: Looking For Translator For La Catalina Art Class

Ron, I know a local Mexican woman who is totally bi-lingual. She is looking for work as a translator and her home was destroyed in the Hurricane. I will email you directly. | ------------------------Re: Looking For Translator For La Catalina Art Class

The Arte Mixta Class has been moved to Thursday afternoons from 5 to 6:30, and we are still looking for a translator (traductor or traductora in Spanish). Thanks | ------------------------Re: Looking For Translator For La Catalina Art Class

Hi Ron Could you make this a little clearer as in who is teaching the art? Do you want a bilingual art teacher or just a translated for the art teacher? I am pretty sure this is a volunteer job which isn't obvious to everyone?? | ------------------------Re: Looking For Translator For La Catalina Art Class

I will try to make this clearer. Dave Sullins and I are teaching an Art class to La Catalina Scholarship students aged 12 to 18, as we did last year, and need someone to translate our English into Spanish for the students. La Catalina would like to find a volunteer, like the teachers, but does have a little money for this position, if necessary, which is for 1.5 hours each week for 10 weeks. Thanks for asking Ani, Ron | ------------------------ |
