Larry, could you elaborate on who or what exactly constitutes "public works" in Lamanz ? I see a crew of 2 who repair water leaks and make up new connections. Beyond that there is trash collection, the crew seems to change with the season or politician ? Just what "public works" department are you suggesting we turn to for assistance ?
If your reference is to La Huerta, then all I can say is good luck. It appears that their, La Huerta's, budget for even normal services has been exhausted for the time being. Refuse piles built during the Patricia clean up funded by Jalisco still block roadways thru-out town, waiting for the next rainstorm to wash all leftovers downhill to said lagoon. The road grader must be out of fuel also, or they have forgotten how to find us here on the beach. I haven't seen Concha Molida or the rest of our North End neighborhood graded since November of 2014.
I might be so bold as to suggest that when we all begin to pay some taxes, then services might follow. But being an old Mexico hand I know the system does not work that way.
So Larry, who do we call for this "Public Works" to help us all out ??? Rojo
