In case you were wondering about the music coming from the casino last night, it was the Quinceañera of a very well-loved girl in the community, Bertha (pronounced BEAR-tah ).
Bertha has been receiving help with her education and her dream of being a dancer from the Salsa Class fees and some generous extranjeros.
We have watched her grow up and couldn't believe how amazing she looked at the fiesta. Her hair alone was stunning, but the whole package...wow!
Bertha danced an incredible dance with her father- local welder and custom bicycle maker Urbano. They were dressed in colourful vaquero and vaquera costumes.
Afterwards dance floor flooded with just about everyone in town...I don't think I've ever seen so many people dancing together here at a fiesta.
