Actually, it's not the end of the story and Isa said she did the announcement in English and Spanish.
On Friday night my husband and I both heard the announcement in Spanish and English. So I see three possible endings to the story ...
1. He and I both go to the looney bin because we were imaging things and hearing voices in Spanish that, according to you, didnt exist.
2. You gracefully admit you were wrong and that what happened is you only heard the English version although the English and Spanish versions were alternating.
3. We start this whole thing again in a much more positive and less mud-slinging fashion. Something like this :
Charley: I didn't hear a Spanish announcement for the Night Under the Stars event. Did anyone else? I think it's important it's in both languages.
Nancy: I completely agree it is important and I'm happy to say I heard the announcement in both languages on Friday night. I think the driver went too fast so it was easy to only end up hearing it in one language. Thanks for checking.
Charley: ok thanks for clarifying and next year they should make sure the driver goes slower so people hear both languages.
Just some pre-coffee thoughts from me this Sunday morning.
