If you have been wanting some cooler weather, you might get it soon. A strong winter storm and associated cold front is moving into northwest Mexico today. This system could bring noticeably cooler air even this far south, along with a chance of light rain Tuesday night and into Wednesday.

I cut out and enlarged the graphical forecast charts for Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday you can see that we are near the edge of a rain zone of 1" or more, and also on the edge of the windy zone. Similar rain zone on Wednesday. At least the little blue stars (snow and freezing rain) keep their distance!
