This is for the wonderful mural being done at the primary school lunch space wall. Lisa will be posting a picture.
The sixth grade class of 35 students is leaving a gift for their school, project organized by Mabel, as they move onto junior high school. And it is looking beautiful. Instead of mosiacs, the kids are using plastic caps. Very nice
But what makes the gift so special is that it also educates and reminds on the importance of recycling and that our ocean now has more plastic than fish swimming in its depths, ugh!
There is a box or bag by the front school door where these can be deposited if you come by after hours Otherwise, they can take your donations by the back entrance where you can see the project and students working. Snacks are welcome.
They could also use bags of cement for gluing mosaics (pega-azulejos), $98 pesos at El Pollo Hardware store. Be sure to specify that it is cement for the primary school mural project. They deliver.
Gracias for your attention and VERY NEEDED CAPS. They can't proceed without your help and Mother Nature will appreciate it too. Cruz
