But it's not that bad when you consider "The USD MXN changed +17.13%
during the last year", which is really the crux of the article.
Compare that article (10 months old) with this LA Times article, one positive
and one emphasizing fear, it just depends on what you look for. If Mexican's can resist
raising prices out of fear that will go a long way in keeping inflation under control.
Information spreads so quickly these day's e.g. "The Mexican peso has gone wild during
the presidential debate", that is something I find disconcerting.
It's not like Mexico totally looses during devaluation, when you
take into consideration the increase in tourism and that Mexico Got More
Money from Remittances Than from Oil Revenues in 2015. Mexican's sending
money home from abroad are getting a lot of pesos for their 23 billion dollar's
at the moment.164
