I think U.S. businesses will fight against deportation of their cheap labor, and as always, they are in the driver's seat. So time will tell.
In the meantime, a friend in San Diego relayed to me tonight that latinos there are very anxious and depressed. And that is very depressing to me.
If I was in their shoes and had any choice, I would get out of the U.S. as fast as I could. Especially if I was in a red state.
How many kicks in the teeth can and should anyone withstand?
