Hugo Brambila toured us through the park he and his team recently built here in La Manzanilla. There is nothing like it in any of the towns around here, and Hugo says it is already very popular, with much of the town using the park and its outdoor exercise machines every afternoon and evening. It's beautiful, and just hung how it will be in a few years when the trees and flowers mature.

BEAUTIFUL pictures David...thank you. They did such an awesome job on that park and I am glad that they have someone there now in the evenings. Heard the kids were leaving lots of garbage and a few things got broke before....just a rumor...but in case it is good to have a supervisor. It is too beautiful an addition to our town to have it vandalized and ruined. It is so great for everyone to be able to share it together. Thanks to Hugo and everyone who helped on this project.

Gracias Linda. Yes, it's true that the washrooms got damaged when they first opened the park. Now they are locked and open only in the evening when Chevio is there.

These are beautiful pictures. Thanks for posting pictures of Hugo and Chevio too. What part of town is the park in?
This is one more reason I miss La Manzanilla! So beautiful.

The new park is on the other side of the arroyo, on the eastern side of the Futbol field.
