When they opened the Jaluco lagoon last week, a whole lot of plant material was swept out to sea. Most of it is a plant called 'Liria', like water lily, and a whole lot of it washed up on our beach here in La Manz. Not so great with the Christmas crowds coming soon...
Just in time, a team of folks has been out raking and putting the Liria in piles, which I believe will be picked up by truck later. They are being paid by La Huerta, just as the women sweeping the streets were.
