There may be an important distinction between the type of events being referred to here. What the Mexican government rightfully objects to is foreigners present on their soil protesting against the actions or policies of the Mexican government or constitution. In one of the examples cited, foreigners were protesting against abortion laws in Mexico. In another, against the building of an airport in Mexico.
In our case here, people are proposing sending a message to Washington, U.S.A., about the rights of women. The rights of women everywhere. There is no specific targeting of the laws or policies of Mexico, or criticisms of Mexican culture.
I'm sure the organizers of this event will make that distinction clear.
