THURSDAY, Feb. 2: Farola, a fun dancing procession (reminds me of Carnival) supposedly starting at 7:00 pm from the Casino and heading to the Jardin and back. And then a free dance in the Casino. (The Farola, a large square lantern twirled by humans, has a mind of its own, and who knows where and when it will really start and where it will go.)
FRIDAY, the 3rd: This Anniversary's special Rodeo type event in the Plaza de Toros, LM Bull ring, in the northeast part of town. There is a small charge for all rodeo events. Starting times vary but at least after 5:00 pm.
SATURDAY, the 4th: We are all invited to a birria lunch by the Regidora, Chely, LM Representave to La Huerta, and the Delegado, Gustavo. This is a free event and, I believe, it starts at 1:00 pm.
Bull riding at the Plaza de Toros and then a Dance at the Casino for $130 pesos, advance door sales price.
SUNDAY, the 5th: A luncheon invitation by Pollos and Pollas of LM in the Casino around 1:00 pm. A free event and all are encouraged to attend.
MONDAY, the 6th: The Ejido and its officers invite you all to a special Anniversary luncheon at the Casino. The Canadian, David, will be a guest of honor, I believe, because he was the first of the 'extranjeros', foreigners, to be involved in the organization of the Toro Anniversary celebration of our town.
Then Bull Riding in the Plaza de Toros followed by a dance in the Cansino for $120 pesos, advance door sales price.
TUESDAY, the 7th: Bull Riding event in Plaza de Toros followed by a dance at the same place.
ALL VISITORS AND FRIENDS ARE CORDIALLY INVITED BY THE DELEGADO, GUSTAVO GUZMAN, TO ATTEND AND ENJOY ALL OF THE PLANNED ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS OF THIS GRATEFUL TOWN. Cruz
