Venus is swinging around the sun faster than we are. It is coming towards us right now, and as it gets closer it becomes a crescent Venus, taller and thinner, but just as bright for a while. It will also get lower in the evening sky, closer to the sun from our point of view. The crescent gets easier to see with binoculars after mid-Feb.
Also that's Mars a bit above Venus, and actually Uranus is right next to Mars. You need a telescope to see uranus.49
