Mary Jo has done an incredible amount of work...as well as an incredible job...to bring Engineers Without Borders to our little pueblo this week. I hope that everyone turns out tomorrow evening to meet them, show appreciation, and donate to this worthy cause if you can.
I'm from Humboldt county where this nationally recognized waste treatment is located. I can attest to the extraordinary quality of this project. Not only does it take care of Arcata's waste but it is a fabulous haven for birds and humans with its wonderful meandering paths. La Manz would be extremely fortunate to develop a system that serves so many needs. An ecologically sound option for this community!
