SoundOut - a Voice Workshop with Viviane Houle (Canada)
The voice is a natural bridge between our inner and outer worlds. Exploring and developing our voices can lead to greater freedom, creativity, and joy in the ways that we relate to ourselves and to the world outside ourselves.
We all have the innate ability and need to vocalize and sound whether we call ourselves “singers” or not. This workshop is for anyone who is curious about the full expressive possibilities of the human voice.
Using fun vocal warm-ups, gentle movement, breath, and sound exercises, improvisation games, as well as unique sonic compositions, this workshop will help you develop your listening skills, ability to draw on your unique natural musical impulses, vocal palette, and range of expression.
No experience in singing is necessary, only a curiosity about sound and the full expressive potential of the human voice.
