In my forty five years of seeking peace and happiness, I have not found a single practice more powerful than the technique of Nonviolent Communication.
I'm surfing for interested participants in learning this heartminded form of connection with oneself and others. If it piques your interest, please contact me for further information; I need an idea in order to have enough materials to go round if I have a sense of our group size.
I am offering a series of workshops in The Art of Nonviolent Communication* a la Marshall Rosenberg,(*aka Compassionate Communication") at Casa Luz, 75 Boca del Rio, beginning with a talk on Friday evening the 19th of January, hosted by Nansee New.
That Friday evening presentation we'll establish the four basics of the framework of this practice, as preface to a two day intensive in the basics of NVC on Saturday and Sunday the 20th and 21st of this month.
In these two days I will work with you to clarify and ground you with a vocabulary of feelings and universal needs that are the basis for empathy in relationships. We will work with one another from wherever we are --absolute beginners or seasoned veterans.
Midweek we'll have a couple of practice groups to encourage attendees to put this into action in two hour sessions on Tuesday the 23rd and Thursday the 25th. One on one and group practice.
On January the 27th (Saturday) we will close out the week with a one day session focused on Empathy and Conflict --Filling the Well of Compassion: Self Empathy, or whatever the group wants to work on.
I am thrilled with your community's interest in NVC and would be honored to present an opportunity for us to move deeper into the treasure hunt for love of ourselves and one another.
