Everyone who visits La Manzanilla should experience the mangrove preserve, the heart of this special ecosystem! To sign up for a tour please call, email or stop by the office. Upcoming Mangrove Birding Tours (5:00-6:30pm) Friday, December 29 Tuesday, January 2 Thursday, January 4 **Please note we can also do other dates with minimum group size of 2 people This is an amazing boat tour through the mangrove at dusk! We can also include for you a private visit to the crocodile museum before the boat tour. Binoculars and a bird list are provided. The bugs are not bad at all - everyone is pleasantly surprised at how few there are. (400 pesos/person) Whale Watching Tours (8:30-11:30 am) Saturday, January 6 Sunday, January 7 *We can do custom dates with minimum group size of 5. Enjoy 3-4 hours on the water in search of humpback whales, sea turtles, dolphins, and marine birds. Binoculars, life jacket, water and snack are provided and the boat has a hydrophone so you can listen to the whales singing. (800pesos/person) We also have Stand Up Paddle Boards available for rent 250 pesos / hour 650 pesos / day 3,250 pesos / week Snorkel gear for rent 100 pesos/day Thank you for supporting eco-tourism in La Manzanilla!
