My regards to Robert and all, looks like some work to do.
I talked to Detroit Dave who lives in Boca, his house did not flood this time
like it did during Jova (Patricia 3 times the wind and one fifth the rain as Jova)
but every tree is down even the old ones.
I also talked to Paul wno lives on the beach, he rode out the storm at his house!
He said he can now see the mountains from his house, that the hurricane took
the top 20 feet off the trees of the Lagoon. He said the sand on the beach is way down
that the beach road has about a foot of sand on it. It will be interesting to see how the
beach recovers from this i.e. do we have enough sand out in the bay to replace what was
either moved inland or hauled off in trucks. What was hauled off in trucks is probably
not very significant in proportion.
