Participants and volunteers in the fun walk/run

Just a reminder to everyone that t-shirt pickup and last chance to register will be tomorrow from 6-8pm in the jardin. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers and if you can please come pick up your t-shirts as well we would appreciate it! There's been a change of plans from what we said last night. And for those wondering what this is all about... don't worry, you're not too late andyou can also come register tomorrow night in the jardin! Here's a repeat of what I've previously posted: We are again going to have a Family Fun Walk/Run! The event, which is devoted to health and fitness for our local community, will be held on Sunday, January 17. This year we are changing the format of the event so it is even more about fun and family! There will be no 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes and no categories. Prizes will be based purely on raffle tickets which participants can pick up at the water stations at each kilometer marker. So, for example, if you go 5km you will pick up 5 tickets, and if you go 2km you will pick up 2 tickets. Every ticket has an equal chance of being drawn. We like that this means that any participant – walking, running, fast, slow, child or adult – has a chance to win a prize! This is NOT a race! Participants are welcome to walk or run and the goal of the event is to get the community active! Can we pick up our t-shirts on Sunday morning before the walk/run? | ------------------------Re: Participants and volunteers in the fun walk/run

We very much prefer everyone to pick up their shirts tonight in the jardin. The reason is that on Sunday morning it ends up being a bit chaotic if people show up to pickup shirts and register at 7:30am with the start time of 8am. And if we end up with a lot of people doing pickup/registration on Sunday it can make the start time be delayed which upsets other participants. So if possible please come today! Thanks! | ------------------------
