Most of this moisture around us the last few days has been streaming from the interior of Mexico, not from the ocean. An unusual situation. In the TRMM radar satellite data from about 6 hrs ago (below), you can see some of the rainstorms from last night.

The tropical cyclone activity right now is almost nothing. There is only Invest 93E well to our south with a 60% chance of developing into a named storm in the next 5 days. Even that disturbance is passing us by and heading west:
