La Manzanilla Message Board: Wowie Zowie, A Great Event

The new Kris Kringle Market Event supporting Activos Gym was a huge success. This year it replaced the Annual Christmas Tree party and we at Activos wondered how it would be received.

WELL, a great big THANK YOU and APPRECIATION to every donator, attendee, bidder and volunteer for all your creativity, energy and participation. You pleasantly exceeded our expectation and certainly erased the doubt that change, after so many years of beautiful trees, would be accepted.

And a special thank you goes to June Nery for all her effort in creating this new and different event. Now you and I don't necessarily have an additional Christmas tree to store, lol.

Also, special appreciation goes to those who so generously give, in this and in former years, to insure that Activos Gym continues to survive. Your time and effort, not to mention your donations, are what make Activos a community project. There are many of you, you know who you are, and we, as a community are grateful.
