hmmm, maybe get some goats to eat it all down. Hire some guys to fence
the property with goat wire then install a rain water collection system
for water. Be talkin with my brother Richard (Nancy and Richard)
at the beach bar, next thing he goes and finds this guy who has lots
of goats (in the Lagoon area about in the middle of between here and Boca).
So we go there and buy three goats and the guy takes them to the
property. This is the day I got them, that is no name on the left
(pregnant female), little guy (young male) in the middle and Smartie
(pregnant female) on the right. They start chompin right away.
Turns out Smartie ain't so smart as she keeps getting her head
stuck in the fence.
So here we are 6 months later, No name has turned into Mama as she
had the new little guy. The old little guy is now named Diablo
(the devil) as he is a testosterone filled ass hole, and Smartie,
well she never had babies but did finally stop getting her head
stuck in the fence. And I have spent the last couple months fixing
holes where the goats were escaping and eating the neighbors plants.
I have some photos of the new little guy but they are on the phone
that doesn't work anymore (I think I sent one to someone). He lets
me pet him (the others don't) and it is a joy to watch him bound around
being a baby goat.
Latest is Diablo got sick, the vet came and gave me medicine but we
couldn't catch him to give it to him. So yesterday I built
a Goat corral. Today I got Diablo into the corral but still
could not lasso him. So I went to the vet and found a couple kids
hanging out there. I took them to their house, they got their rope
and caught Diablo and gave him his medicine. Then I put up a tarp
for shade and a water and feed bucket. So now Diablo and Smartie
are in the corral together (so Diablo is not lonely) and Mama and
little guy are hanging around outside the pen not knowing what is happening
(Smartie was the leader of the group).
Simple things for simple minds eh?
