That’s all my land along the West Bank. There’s no way that they can expect that channel to stay as deep as it and as wide as they are digging it. Nature abhors a vacuum. I work for 40 years on flood channels and watched harbors fill-in and mirror seconds in a big storm. I worked on a project where they excavated about 100 times more material than that and it took two hours have a big storm to fill it all back him. Not likely that it will take any time at all for this to refill during the big storm. I wish them luck in making a harbor entrance but you’ll need to have a dredge there almost all the time because if it isn’t the mountain/river bed load filling it in it’ll be the ocean backfilling with Sand. I have many beautiful trees in my lower bench land that I am concerned about. Thanks for the pics and videos kids. Here is a picture of the lighted boat parade in the Santa Cruz Harbor. Maybe we can have one just like it. Fat chance big construction like this always freak you out. I don’t blame everybody for being a little rattled.
