I live in Villa Obregon but have enough connection with La Manzanilla to find some relevance. There is a mountain ridge between our communities but the weather except for the rainfall is very similar.
For perspective, consider:
Every morning I look at the weather forecasts for my region. Because it is so humid here, normally I pay attention to the heat index which is the combination of temperature and humidity combined. Until two days ago the heat index had been over 100 degrees for two months straight without a break. One week the index
temps were 117, 114, 121, and
117 respectively. A few days ago a tropical storm blew by off of the coast. This was the first the major rain in Melaque in two months as well. La Manzanilla has fared better regarding rain.
