a young man tried to do a pole dance move and broke it in half. He was
very apologetic and his friends stuck the remaining half back into the hole.
With the flag lower people were taking photos next to it (it was too
high to do that before) so I thought all's well that ends well. But being
lower also got it destroyed so ....
My solution was to just splice the old pole so it is now in 3 parts, the
top part is from the flag pole that got destroyed by hurricane Bud earlier
this year.
We will see how it goes, I would prefer not to have to bring it in every
night but will if I have to. Like Dylan say's "you need a flag to tell
which way the wind blows."
