and gone into the ocean even though they don't know how to swim. Once you enter
there is a ditch where you can't touch but then a bit further out there is
sand where you can stand up.
Couple days ago a guy went in but the sand had moved a bit further out so he
couldn't touch where he was used to touching. He panicked and started flailing
about, basically drowning 30 feet off shore. My friend stripped off his clothes
and went in to assist him.
As soon as he got close the drowning guy climbed on top of him pushing him under
water! It was pretty dramatic for a bit there but turned out ok. Talking later
we realized the need for some sort of floating device close by. Later that
evening we saw one hanging by the beach at Bahia Azul, we are going to get
anther one for this area, they should be all along the beach.
