A 4 session, beginning bachata class will start on Monday, Dec 3 at 5 pm. It will be held on the rooftop at David & Debbie's house. (It's the first casa, orange and yellow, north of the crocodiles and on the beach. Take the stairs to the top level.)
With Dominican Republic origins, bachata is widely danced in Latin America and has become popular at salsa venues worldwide. Compared to salsa, the tempo of bachata is often slower and the style more romantic.
Again, this will be a beginner's class that covers the basic steps, simple variations, and easy turns. No partner necessary.
